Neil Sedaka is an American pop singer, pianist, and songwriter. He was born on March 13, 1939 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. In 1947, he auditioned successfully for a piano scholarship to the Juilliard School of Music's Preparatory Division for Children, which he attended on Saturdays. The two began writing together. Sedaka is best known for a collection of hits such as "Love Will Keep Us Together," "You Mean Everything to Me, "Run Samson Run," "Calendar Girl," "Little Devil" and "Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen".
