Biography
A cult American alternative/grunge rock band Nirvana was formed in Aberdeen, Washington, US in 1987. The band consisted of Kurt Cobain (vocals, guitar), Krist Novoselic (bass) and Dave Grohl (drums). The breakthrough for Nirvana happened in 1991 with the hit single number one Smells Like Teen Spirit from their album Nevermind, which you can download in mp3 from our site. It made Nirvana over popular, the album became Diamond in the US and in Canada. Next group’s works are Incesticide and In Utero continued their success. But in 1994 the band was dissolved after the death of Kurt Cobain. Other famous Nirvana songs are Rape Me, Come as you are, Heart-Shaped Box and others. Nirvana’s discography was continued after Cobain’s death. Such albums like “MTV Unplugged in New York”, “Nirvana” were issued in 1994 and in 2002 respectively.
