Patricia Lee Ramey, better known under her stage name Patty Loveless is an American country music singer born on January 4, 1957 in Pikeville, Kentucky, the United States. She rose to fame at the end of the 1980s with her third album Honky Tonk Angel. The album quickly made her popular as it was supported by a hit single number one "Timber, I'm Falling in Love”. In 1989, she won American Music Awards for Favorite New Country Artist. Since then, her popularity has been steadily high. She went on to release more popular albums and some of them were certified Platinum. One of them is When Fallen Angels Fly. Country Music Association named it Album of the year.
