Biography

Pearl Jam is an American alternative rock and hard rock band that was formed in 1990, on Seattle, Washington. The band consists of Jeff Ament, Stone Gossard, Mike McCready, Eddie Vedder and Matt Cameron. The band has cited many punk rock and classic rock bands as influences, including The Who, Neil Young, and the Ramones. You may download Pearl Jam's most successful album, Ten (1991), in mp3 from our site. The album spawned three hits, "Alive", "Even Flow", and "Jeremy". The album reached number two on the Billboard 200 chart. The album also broke the band into the mainstream, and became one of the best-selling alternative albums of the 1990s. With the success of Ten, Pearl Jam also became a key member of the Seattle grunge explosion, along with Alice in Chains, Nirvana, and Soundgarden. The band toured relentlessly in support of the album. In 1992, they made television appearances on Saturday Night Live and MTV Unplugged and took a slot on that summer's Lollapalooza tour.
