American R&B and soul singer-songwriter and record producer R. Kelly (bith name Robert Sylvester Kell) was born on January 8, 1967, in Chicago, Illinois. He gained popularity in the early 1990s as a member of the R&B and hip hop band Public Announcement. In 1993, R. Kelly released his breakthrough album, 12 Play, which you may download in mp3 from our site. The album yielded the singer's first number-one hit, "Bump n' Grind," which spent a record-breaking 12 weeks at number one on the Hot R&B Singles chart. His follow-up multi-platinum album, R. Kelly, was released in 1995, and you also may download it in mp3 from our site. It produced the hit singles, "You Remind Me of Something", "I Can't Sleep (Baby If I)" and "Down Low". Kelly has also sung the hooks for many notable hip-hop songs, such as "Lovin' You Tonight" by The Notorious B.I.G., "We Thuggin'" by Fat Joe, "Gigolo" by Nick Cannon and "Go Getta" by Young Jeezy.
