Biography

Rip Slyme are a Japanese hip hop band that was formed in 1994. Today, this group consists of Ryo-Z (Ryouji Narita), Ilmari (Keisuke Ogihara), Pes (Masatsugu Chiba), Su (Kazuto Ootsuki) and Fumiya (Fumiya Takeuchi). They emerged on the Japanese in the mid-1990 with their debut album, Lips Rhyme, which received very good reviews from critics. Several years later, they released their following album, Talkin' Cheap, which brought a contract with Warner Music Group for the band.
