British rock, blues and blues-rock guitarist, musician and songwriter Robin Trower, birth name Robin Leonard Trower, was born on March 9, 1945 in Catford, South East London, England. He rose to fame as the member of his band Procol Harum. They gained some popularity but Trower left the band for pursuing his own solo career. He reached the fame again and throughout the 1970s, he was on the peak of his career. That decade saw four Gold albums released by Robin Trower - Bridge of Sighs, For Earth Below, Long Misty Days and In City Dreams. Bridge of Sighs is considered his most popular album.
