Biography
American hip hop and rap rock band Run-D.M.C. was formed in Hollis, Queens, New York, the United States in 1983. The band ceased to exist in 2002 and the former members are Joseph "DJ Run" Simmons, Darryl "D.M.C." McDaniels, and Jason "Jam-Master Jay" Mizell. The band influenced the contemporary hip hop much more than any band ever. They became the first hip hop band ever to release the Gold debut album. They broke up pop charts and reached mainstream success which was also a revolution for hip hop artists. The band has released several platinum and one multi-platinum album titled Rising Hell. You can download this album by Run-D.M.C. in mp3 from our site. The band ceased to exist in 2002 when Jam-Master Jay was shot in his New York studio. Police didn’t find the killer and couldn’t explain the reasons of this murder.
