Biography

Silencers are a Scottish rock and pop rock band that was formed in 1987 by vocalist Jimme O'Neill and guitarist Cha Burns. Later, Stevie Kane, Professor Stephen Greer, Aura O'Neill, Phil Kane, Milla and Baptiste Brondy joined the act. The group's music style is often considered as a mix of pop, folk and traditional Celtic music sounds. They appeared on the European folk music scene in the late A Letter From St. Paul, which contained the band's first hit singles such as "Painted Moon", "I Can't Cry", "Bullet And Blue Eyes" and "God's Gift". Following the success of their first work, they released their next album, Dance to the Holy Man, which was highly praised by critics. It spawned the singles, "Singing Ginger", "Robinson Crusoe in New York", "Bulletproof Heart", "The Art of Self Deception" and "I Want You". This record also became number 39 in the UK. Now, you may download Silencers' album, Dance to the Holy Man, in mp3 from our site.
