Snoop Dogg (birth name Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr.) is an American rapper and actor. He was born on October 20, 1976 in Long Beach, California, US. He started his career in 1992 and already in 1993 he released his debut album Doggystyle which propelled him to the mainstream success and made him one of the most successful rappers to date. The album was certified quadruple platinum and yielded hit singles Who Am I (What’s My Name) and Gin & Juice.
