English rock band Status Quo was formed in London, England in 1962. During the first years of its existence, the band was changing its name and finally ended with Status Quo. Originally, it was named The Spectres. The band has produced more than 60 hit singles, which entered the UK chart. This is more than any other band has ever produced. Their style can be described as rock, hard rock, boogie rock and psychedelic rock. The current band’s line-up composes of Francis Rossi (lead guitar, vocals), Rick Parfitt (guitar), Andy Brown (keyboards), John Edwards (bass) and Matt Letley (drums). The band has become one of the leading UK acts of 1970s. Their most popular hits of that era include "Down Down" (1975), "Rockin' All Over the World" (1977) and "Whatever You Want" (1979). You can download Status Quo’s hit collection Picture – 40 years of hits in mp3.
