Stephen Ray Vaughan known as Stevie Ray Vaughan was an American guitarist and singer-songwriter, born on October 3m 1954 in Dallas, Texas, the United States and died on August 27, 1990 in East Troy, Wisconsin. He is considered to be one of the most popular and influential guitarists in the music history. During his not so long career, he has released 6 studio albums, 6 compilation albums, and six live albums. The sixth album In Session was released after his death in 1999. The debut album Texas Flood made him popular immediately and eventually it went on Platinum in both U.S. and in Canada. He also collaborated with such famous artists like David Bowie (he took part in the recording of his best-selling album Let’s Dance), James Browne and Iggy Pop. He is also a Grammy Award winner.
