American pop rock singer, guitarist and actress Susanna Hoffs, birth name Susanna Lee Hoffs was born on January 17, 1959 in Los Angeles, California, the United States. She rose to fame in the 1980s when she was a member of an all-female band The Bangles. The band released quite many hit singles during the 1980s and Hoffs was a real star during that decade. The band is known for such popular songs like "Manic Monday", "Walk Like an Egyptian", "Hazy Shade Of Winter", "In Your Room", "Eternal Flame" and some others. She embarked on solo career at the beginning of the 1990s. The debut album When You’re A Boy was released in 1991. The album spawned a single “My Side of the Bed”. It also featured the cover on D.
