American alternative rock They Might Be Giants (often abbreviated as TMBG) was formed in Brooklyn, New York, the United States in 1982. The band members are Marty Beller, John Flansburgh, John Linnell, Dan Miller and Danny Weinkauf. The band is known for the experimental approach to their sound. They gained the popularity mostly in modern rock chart, in children music genres and writing themes for several television programs and films. The band released their thirteenth album Here Comes the 123s was released in 2008 as a follow up to their critically-acclaimed Here Come the ABCs children project.
