Biography

English rock band Uriah Heep was formed in London in 1969. The band’s name was taken from Charles Dickens’ “David Copperfield”. The current band members are Mick Box – guitar, Trevor Bolder – bass guitar, Bernie Shaw – vocals, Phil Lanzon – keyboards and Russell Gilbrook – drums. The band created their own unique sound of the hard-rock incorporating elements of progressive, art and jazz rock. The band reached the mainstream success and the worldwide popularity at the beginning of the 1970s when they released their classical albums Look at Yourself, Demons and Wizards and The Magician's Birthday. You can download these albums by Uriah Heep in mp3 from our site. The band’s popularity went down in the 1980s, however they are still popular in Japan, Russia, Germany, Netherlands, Scandinavia and on the Balkans.
