Biography

American rock band Vertical Horizon was formed in Washington D.C., the United States in 1990. The band was founded by Georgetown University undergraduates Matthew Scannell and Keith Kane. At first they were performing as a duo but in 1996 they were joined by drummer Ed Toth and by temporary bassist Ryan Fisher. The current line-up of the band consists of Matt Scannell, Keith Kane and of Sean Hurley (joined the band in 1998). The peak of the band’s career was in 1999 when they released their hit album Everything You Want. The album was certified 2 x Platinum.
