Biography

Village People is an American disco and dance band that was formed in 1977 and currently consists of Victor Willis (police officer), Felipe Rose (American Indian chief), Randy Jones (cowboy), Glenn Hughes (biker), David Hodo (construction worker) and Alex Briley (Military man). In 1977, they singed to Casablanca Records label. At the same year, they released their debut self-titled album, which produced the band's first three hits, "San Francisco (You've Got Me)", "In Hollywood (Everybody is a Star)" and "Village People". They achieved mainstream success in 1978 with their best selling album, Cruisin', which yielded two hit singles such as "Hot Cop" and "Y.M.C.A.". The album's lead single, "Y.M.C.A.", reached number two on the U.S. charts and peaked at number one in the UK. Now, you may download this album by Village People in mp3 from our site.
