American R&B singer-songwriter, producer and pianist Vivian Green was born in East Oak Lane, not far from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She began her music career in her teens, being a member in an all-female group Younique. Later, she tried herself as a songwriter for such famous artists like Britney Spears and Boyz II Men. The real break was achieved when she was invited on an international tour as a back vocalist for Jill Scott. This allowed her embark on solo career. She signed a deal with Columbia Records in 2001. Green has released two studio albums and several singles. Her debut effort A Love Story was released in 2002 and followed by Vivian in 2005. Three of her singles reached the top spot on the Hot Dance Club Play - "Emotional Rollercoaster", "Gotta Go Gotta Leave (Tired)" and "I Like It (But I Don't Need It)".
