American artist, comedian, and busker Wesley Willis, birth name Wesley Lawrence Willis was born on May 31, 1963 in Chicago, Illinois and died on August 21, 2003. Willis is known as a prolific author with big discography, which contains not only his solo works but also the albums created with his band Wesley Willis Fiasco. That was a punk rock band and he fronted it. Willis was known for writing bizarre and humorous, sometimes obscene lyrics. He is famous for such songs like "Jesus is the Answer" and "Casper the Homosexual Friendly Ghost". His music was not complicated, yet it was still unique. Willis was a prominent figure on the Chicago scene despite having a diagnose of paranoid schizophrenia. He heard some voices as he called them “demon mullets”.
