American R&B female group Xscape, often referred as Escape was formed in Atlanta, Georgia, the United States in 1993. The group members were sisters LaTocha "Juicy" Scott and Tamika "Meatball" Scott, along with Kandi Burruss and Tameka "Tiny" Cottle. The group featured annual Martin Luther King Jr. festival in Atlanta where they were noticed by famous producer Jermaine Dupri. He quickly signed them to his label and the group emerged on the R&B American scene releasing their debut album Hummin’ Comin’ ‘Cha. The album reached number 17 on the Billboard 200 and number 3 on the Top R&B/Hip-hop albums and received platinum certificate within a year.
