Zucchero, birth name Adelmo Fornaciari was born on September 25, 1955 in Reggio Emilia, Italy. He is a popular rock singer, known not only in Europe but in US too. He is very inspired by gospel, blues and rock music, so he performs in such genres like pop rock, reggae, soul, blues and adult contemporary. He reached international success in 1990 releasing his album Zucchero Sings His Hits in English. Zucchero's best known hit "Senza una donna" ("Without a Woman"), in a duet with Paul Young, is from this album. However, the most popular Zucchero’s album is Zu & Co. This is a compilation of songs that were released before. This time they were recorded with new arrangements and with many famous artists: "Muoio Per Te" (with Sting), "Blue" (with Sheryl Crow or Ilse DeLange), "Hey Man (Sing A Song)" (with B. B.
